About Us

Hello and welcome to  Pob Pawen Pet Supplies.  We are a new online business with a vision to become the leading provider of ethical and sustainable pet supplies in the UK, with a special focus on our Welsh roots. While we're currently concentrating on dog products, our future plans are to grow the brand and provide a sustainable service to all pet owners.

The concept for Pob Pawen pet supplies originated from the success of our award-winning dog grooming and day care business, located in Aberystwyth in Mid Wales. Prior to entering the pet service industry, the owner of Pob Pawen, Jordan, had a background in an online sustainable retail family-run business. While working with dogs, he noticed a gap in the market for a one-stop shop for pet products that are ethically sourced and sustainable.

It's really important to us to support UK small businesses and source products from the UK to minimise carbon emissions. If we can't find UK-manufactured products, we look to our overseas suppliers who are just as committed to sustainability as we are.

Our packaging is 100% recyclable, and we're super proud to run a business that's free of single-use plastics. We get that pet ownership has an environmental impact, so we're dedicated to providing sustainable choices for all pet owners.

Outside of work, Jordan and Kate have two dogs, Lola, a Jack Russell, and Pegi, a Tibetan Terrier (you may see them on the website!). They enjoy traveling in their camper van and hiking through the beautiful Mid Wales scenery. They have recently been kept busy by the arrival of baby Louis, who is now 6 months old.
